We hired Shane to do an extensive addition and
remodel to our six year old home in Bigfork. My
experience working with Shane was unbelievably
rewarding. We love what he did for us and how he
handled himself throughout the project. Shane is
an excellent builder/ manager. His integrity is top
notch, he spent lots of time working with us to
make sure all issues were understood before
proceeding. He works hard for the owner and for
his subcontractors resulting in total job harmony.
We never had an issue arise that wasn't handled
professionally and immediately. We had a
subcontractor who failed to perform. That
happens, but it is a very scary thing to wonder if
your builder is going to be there for you or not.
The Sub literally took our money and ran. Shane
stood tall and assured me he would handle the
mess. He only asked for some time to restructure
the schedule. Shane gave it his all and even
though he was a little late, we ended up with a
higher quality product than originally bid. His way
of making up for lost time I suspect. Shane bore
the burden of all the costs, a substantial amount
of money, and never complained nor looked for an
easy out. He accepted full responsibility for the
actions of this sub as a matter of his strong
ethical practice. Putting our trust in Shane's
integrity was well placed.

Shane Overbey was my general contractor for a
home I built in Whitefish and sold in 2008. He
was timely and he successfully handled all the
challenges that our project presented. Shane
delivered a great project as my contractor and
now we are friends as a result of his work for me.

Even though the job was finished a year ago, Shane is still available to help me with problems. I'm
speaking of problems that were not related to his work, but rather problems of normal wear and tear. He
has been over to visit about them and then helped me get them fixed. He has yet to charge me for
anything that is even close to being part of his work. He cares about his work. Shane has a lot of integrity.
He is also a very good and competent builder, totally thorough in his work. He knows his subs work and
helps them get it right for the total project. He never has tried to pass the buck or worm his way out of
unpleasant situations. I would hire Shane again and in fact never seek another price. Thanks Shane, for an
excellent job.
